Healthy Gums

Healthy gums function in the human body as a shield that protects the blootstream and the foundation of our dentition from the pathogens (bacteria and viruses) that are constantly present in the oral cavity.
The gums function sufficiently thanks to a firm attachment around the dental enamel. In that case, is the depth of the space between the gum and the tooth (which we call the pocket) between 1 and 3 mm (depending on the build/biotype of the gums).
